AAMSS CERTIFICATION SCHOLARSHIP

In addition to the AAMSS conferences and workshops that are offered throughout the year, the AAMSS Board has made a commitment to encourage members to achieve certification through the National Association of Medical Staff Services (NAMSS).  The AAMSS Board offers two (2) Certification Scholarships per calendar year to help those who do not have funding available through their employment to not miss out on this opportunity.  The scholarship is offered to encourage AAMSS members to achieve the Certified Professional Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) and/or the Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) certification and to provide the professional and financial support to successfully attain certification.  The scholarship includes:

1. NAMSS membership for the year of testing to facilitate "NAMSS Member" rate for testing, if applicable;
2. Registration for either the Certified Professional Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) OR the Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) examination at the NAMSS member rate; and
3. Purchase of the NAMSS published respective study guide.
